Clean, rustic house with comfortable beds and an excellent location a 5 minute drive from the ski hill. However, being a very old building built on a side hill, the whole house leans to the front and there is not a level floor or ceiling in the place. Although the renovations are attractive on the surface (and in the pictures), the sagging floors that shake as you walk, old wall boards, mismatched cabinets, raised thresholds at the doorways to the upstairs rooms, and everything at odd angles really detract from the ambiance. Definitely not what we expected from a VRBO rental based on TV advertising.

La Blanche du Cap est chaleureuse, simple et accueillante.Elle dégage un cachet que j’apprécie. Je me sens comme chez moi. La vue sur le fleuve, avec le foyer au salon invitent à la détente . Le stationnement est facile. L’accès à la promenade au bord du fleuve si proche et facile .L’espace de rangement est bien pensé et suffisant. Petit bémol: prévoir 1 ou 2 couvertures de plus pour les frileux; une veilleuse, pour les chambres; avoir la possibilité d’ajuster la chaleur de l’eau dans la salle de bain du bas. Merci pour ce beau séjour! Rendez-vous l’hiver prochain!

L’endroit où c’était situé. Près de la plage. Avec vue sur le fleuve. Très joli. Plutôt calme.
