How much does a chalet with a private hot tub cost in Quebec?
Expect $50 to $150 more per night than an equivalent chalet without — roughly $295 to $650 per night depending on region and season. Median rate in our hot-tub selection is $445/night. The Laurentians and Charlevoix sit at the high end; Lanaudière at the more accessible end.
Is the hot tub private or shared?
Every chalet on this page has a private hot tub, reserved for chalet occupants only for the duration of the stay. We exclude shared bath houses and inn spas — you're paying for the privacy.
Does the hot tub work in winter?
Yes — most of our hot tubs are electric, continuously heated, and rated for year-round operation (down to -30 °C). A few properties offer wood-fired tubs; those need 1–2 hours to warm up before use. Each listing specifies the type.
Do I need to bring my own spa towels?
No — bath and spa towels are provided at every chalet. Bring only your swimsuit (or not, depending on the property's privacy — many forest chalets are out of sight of neighbors).
Are there hot-tub chalets for just two people?
Yes — we have a selection of mini chalets with private hot tubs built for couples. They make up about 15% of our hot-tub inventory, mostly in the Laurentians and Townships. Filter by capacity 2 in the hot-tub catalog.
Is the hot tub covered by insurance for damage?
Yes — our rental contracts include peace-of-mind protection up to $800 for accidental equipment damage (cover, heater, jets) under normal use. Damage from misuse (soap in the tub, overloading) is the renter's responsibility.
