This house on the Massif of Charlevoix has the most amazing views from sunset to sunrise! it was exactly what our family was looking for during the Christmas holidays. Plenty of activities closeby: skiing on the massif, lots of trails, trip to Quebec, ...We were just sad not to be able to get a Christmas tree, all sold out few days ahead of the 25th.

Very nice large house with a fantastic view. Very close to Le Massif and Baie-Saint-Paul. Overall, a great choice. Three things that could be improved: 1) when using the Airbnb app to get there (linking to Google maps), it brought us to a different place - put the address directly in Google maps instead; 2) basics like coffee and soap should be provided (we never experienced this lack before, especially at this price point); 3) overall communications where ok, but not great... you will be dealing with an agent, not the owner. Responses can be slow (e.g. it took days to get an unsatisfactory response to a simple question and only after additional prodding) or lacking (e.g. we never got a response to our note that one of the door locks was not locking). Because there is an agent/company involved, note that you will also be asked to check in via their website, provide info, etc., which is a minor frustration. Overall, we recommend and hope that improvements will make it even better.

Le séjour était magnifique! La place était propre et nous avons passé un excellent moment. Le seul point négatif était le fait qu’il manquait la table de billard et de baby-foot qu’il y avait dans les images.

We had a great stay at this beautiful cottage. The amenities were excellent, the space was very comfortable and spacious, and the views were absolutely breathtaking—everything you’d hope for in a relaxing getaway. That said, one area that impacted our experience was the check-in. When we arrived, the outdoor temperature was over 30°C, and the inside of the cottage was even hotter—around 32°C—as the AC had been turned off prior to our arrival. With seniors and young children in our group, it made for a very uncomfortable start to our stay. Since the cottage doesn’t have forced air, it took quite a long time for the space to cool down, and the main floor bedrooms remained at around 27°C even by nighttime. We ended up sleeping in the ground floor, which was still very warm. Despite that initial discomfort, we really enjoyed our time here and would still recommend this cottage. We’d kindly suggest to the host to consider leaving the AC running before guests arrive.

We had a fabulous stay. The most impressive thing for us was the view through the large windows. The cottage is also positioned for privacy from nearby places. We enjoyed coffee and relaxing on the large balcony. The place was equipped with everything we needed. I would note, as another guest commented, that the air conditioning could not keep all of the bedrooms cool during the 30 degree weather that we experienced. However, it did keep the living room and kitchen relatively cool, with use of the blinds during the sunny times of day. Overall, we were so impressed with the space and would recommend it to others.

Ma famille et avons beaucoup aimé l’endroit . La vue est magnifique et l’environnement est très calme . Chacun avait son intimité et la place commune est parfaite pour recevoir tout le monde au souper ou les jeux en soirée. Et les chiens sont bienvenue ce qui est un précieux avantage pour nous!

There was no dish soap and no curtains in the rooms so it was bright at 4:00 am.

Très belle maison avec une vue fantastique sur le Saint-Laurent. L’espace est généreux et bien aménagé. Il faisait un peu chaud pendant notre séjour, car un seul appareil de climatisation fonctionnait, situé dans le salon. Lors des journées d’été, il faut donc compter sur la fraîcheur du vent pour refroidir les chambres. Un petit souci avec le Wi-Fi a été réglé, en moins de 12 heures. La maison est bien équipée et dispose même d’un appartement complet au rez-de-jardin. Nous y retournerons, c’est certain !
